Reviews for Troy-Bilt TB310QS Mulchinator 31cc 2-Cycle Gas-Powered a hundred sixty five MPH Blower/Vacuum (Lawn & Patio) Most blowers throw within the vacuum possibility as an afterthought. The TB310Q's first priority is to hoover after which 2ndly to behave as a blower. Overall, very strong quality and starts extremely straightforward once you have damaged it in. The swap from blower to vac is easy. I like the reality that that you can empty the bag without getting rid of it. My most effective 'cons' would be that it's heavier/bulkier than most and the engine runs louder than moderate.
Reviews for Troy-Bilt TB310QS Mulchinator 31cc 2-Cycle Gas-Powered 165 MPH Blower/Vacuum (Lawn & Patio) I bought the Troy Built this summer time as a replacement for a Weed Eater edition. I used to be most interested in the vaccum function for departs. Well the blower and vaccum are both ample. It has a spring assisted pull start which makes it more uncomplicated to tug. The unit is large and ponderous and just a little heavy in comparison with the 21cc unit it changed. The "cruise keep watch over" looked like a good promoting point, however the unit vibrates so badly that the cruise keep an eye fixed on does not cling beneath full throttle. I purchased this unit from Lowes and I'm glad I did. The unit wouldn't begin after 2 months of round the house use. I all the time see to it the oil:gas is proper and deal with these 2 cycle engines with gasoline stabilizer so I'm not sure why it failed. Thank goodness Lowes exchanged it for a new one with no querys asked. Hopefully I'll have better success with the second one. In summary: heavy, bulky, sufficient blower and vac for around the house, worthless throttle keep an eye on, and questionable build quality and reliability.
Reviews for Troy-Bilt TB310QS Mulchinator 31cc 2-Cycle Gas-Powered one hundred sixty five MPH Blower/Vacuum (Lawn & Patio) I had an electricalal blower/vac (Black and Decker) for yrs. Worked wonderful, but it used to be always a pain to modify it from blowing to vac mode. Yes, the tubes simply clicked on, however you needed to carry them around to make the switch.
This is a perfect option to that drawback. You can blow the go aways (or whatever) right into a pile, then simply flip a lever and vac them up. Simple, straightforward, quick. Perfect for clearing out a patio, garage, driveway, flower beds, or reasonable dimension lawns.
There are several pluses to this model. First of all, it begins very simply. Be sure to high it 10 times as urged, and it's going to fan the flames of with one or two pulls. Secondly, it is vitally clog resistant - I've vac'd up wet leaves with no issues. Other pluses are the patio cleansing attachment (wonderful!), just right construction and a just right handbook. While the 10:1 discount is a piece positive, it does reduce the pile by means of a decent amount.
Some draw backs as neatly, then again. It is heavy. It's not unbearable, but you'll be in a position to now notice the weight if you're used to an electric adaptation. It's on the loud side, however no longer extra so than different 2 cycle engines. The bag is on the small aspect, however to be sincere, the rest larger would be too bulky when full. While it is rather clog resistant, if it does clog you wish to take off the tubes (need a torx screwdriver to do so) to unclog it. I'm no longer sure how smartly the plastic impeller will hold up - seems just right to this point, but the plastic impeller on my electrical one took a beating. A steel one would were a nice contact. The power is enough - it is now not the strongest blower out there, however it will get the job carried out. These considerations knock the score all the method down to 4 megastars (probably four.5 big names could be more accurate, however which you could't select one thing in between).
But, these issues are moderately livable as a end result of the benefit of changeing from blower to vac, and the convenience of beginning. Wish I had offered this 12 monthss ago!
UPDATE: Been the utilization of this weekly for the earlier four months, and still am very pleased. Works like a charm, and begins very simply. Can't take now note one of the most terrible evaluates - this has been a joy to make use of!
Update: August 2009 -- It's been two years, and still works nice. The plastic impeller is displaying signs of wear and tear on the grounds that I sometimes vac up a tremendous chunk of bark mulch or a rock, however it nonetheless vacs up the complete thing with no drawback. Starts quickly, which I credit to the use of both Stabil and Seafoam in the gas (I comprehend it's overkill to use both of them, but I really have been for yrs and all my 2-cycle engines run great). There are better ones available in the market from Husky or Stihl, however for the associated fee, this is an excellent performer.
Update August 2010 -- Three years, and still working well. The impeller put on has not affected operation to any noticable extent.
